‘Encountering Senses’

Encountering senses is a photobook shaped by the 5-4-3-2-1 anxiety grounding technique, designed to guide the viewers slowly through each page. It brings a series of images that create a more mindful way of looking into detail. Each section focuses on noticing what you can; see, hear, feel, smell and taste. The book becomes less about rushing the images and more about staying present with them. The textures of water, stone and landscape all work together alongside the words to create a calm, reflective pace.
