‘The Poetics of Everyday Life’

This book is in honour of noticing the small unnoticed things that come to be overlooked. The series of photos are from; a small village, walks in the peak district and simple movements like footprints or worn shoes. The idea is to show how everyday life leaves traces in small ways creating a hidden story of movement through places and time. Using Riso felt right due to its imperfect and layered like texture just like the things I was seeing. This project is me paying attention to find something poetic in ordinary routines and marks that people leave behind
